A Brief Interlude in the Palouse
We spent four and a half days in the Palouse, which is in the south east corner of Washington State. The first day we were on our own and the following three as a group of 5 on a workshop with Chip Phillips from Spokane, Washington. The weather was mostly overcast with just one or two brief moments of good light, but we did our best. And with the use of Lightroom I have managed to bring up some of the colours in the landscape.

Two Days in Seattle - part 3
The trees have been painted blue to increase awareness and encourage discussion about global warming. In the same area the homeless gathered. Along the waterfront we found more sculptures.
Two Days in Seattle - part 2
After the market we took a look at the Seattle Library before making our way, via the monorail, to the Seattle Centre to see the Experience Music Project and Space Needle. The orange structure is a metal sculpture called the Iliad.
