Pink Tulip

The tulips are beginning to look good in the garden but I decided it would be easier to photograph this one indoors away from the wind.

Infra-Red

Yesterday I managed to measure the white balance properly on my Infra-red converted D70.  I wanted to achieve pictures with those delicate peaches and blues.  Managed to get something near what I wanted with the first image but thought the second one worked better in monochrome.  Shame about the plain sky in the second one.

Looking for Inspiration

Took a short walk along the river today in the hope of finding a picture for the 365 project.  I thought maybe I would see some ducklings but they must all have been hiding.  Now I can't decide which picture to use for today.

Glasgow

We had a couple of days in Glasgow at the end of February as we were lecturing at three clubs in the area.  On our first day we started out by walking down to the Clyde from our hotel near Sauchihall Street crossing the river on the Tradeston-Broomielaw Bridge, known as the Squiggly Bridge.

After wandering along the river bank, mostly in the rain, we crossed back via the Arc Bridge, known as the Squinty Bridge.  The second picture also shows the Titan Crane and a small part of the Armadillo.

I thought the view of the bridge through the lifebelt was interesting.

I had expected to see plenty of graffiti along the footpaths but there was very little.

365 Project

I am still taking a picture a day and have made mosaics of the first two months.  If you would like to see the individual pictures click on the link to the pages (on the right hand side pane)
